The Belmont Library Building Committee and chairs of the Belmont Library Trustees presented an update to the Board of Selectmen in February 2019. The slides from this presentation are below.
The Library Building Committee was appointed by Town Moderator Mike Widmer at the end of 2017. In 2018 the committee worked to hire Daedalus Projects, Inc as our Owners Project Manager and Oudens Ello Architecture as the Architect. The Library hosted three open public forums as part of the feasibility study, and will be hosting its next open public forum, the first in Schematic Design, on Wednesday March 13th at 7:00pm in the Library Assembly Room, to continue the dialogue on the path forward with citizens.
